Self-Locking Hooks are the most common style of bottom hook used on chain slings. The hook design ensures that the hook will close when loaded and thus the load is captured in the hook and is not able to release should the load line become slack or into contact with another object.

This clevis self-locking hook allows the hook to remain open until the load is engaged and won’t open until the trigger at the back is pressed.The clevis jaw can easily connect to Grade 80 Chain, we also have G80 Eye Self-Locking Hook for your option. Stamped with “G80” or “8” for easy identified and suitable for EN818-2 G80 chain. Made from quenched and tempered alloy steel for high tensile strength and ductility. Individually proof test is made at 2.5 times working load limit. Fatigue test is done at 1.5 times working load limit for 20,000 cycles. Breaking load test is also made for each delivery, the breaking load is 4 times of working load limit. We spot check every delivery to make sure of the tensile strength. The products have passed 100% magnaflux crack detection to make sure there's no flaw.
